Origin
- Comes from the grapes on the vine
- Gathered in and pressed out into mash
- Also obtained from grain and corn also
- Traditionally only grapes have been used
- From Arabia regions and others where these are grown naturally
Preparation
- The mash can either be strained or pressed out into service with different levels of letting it sit
- Fermentation which comes from the sitting procedure is what makes the wine flow
- Active ingredient is alcohol
- Believed to kill off bacteria and is activated by pouring it into a wound
- Useful for cleansing
- Can also be used in small amounts to aid in digestion later
- Combinations with oil for best results
