Support
From there, comes the chords. These were part of the older method of learning the keys. When we look at the tonal and atonal system, however, you will find a much wider range in the use of these chords. For instance, you could have only one person singing all by themselves. This would be considered a solo. Several people singing all together would be considered a group of people. So these can either sing in unison or else all different things. I know we've looked at soprano, alto, tenor, and base before. This would be considered the four-part harmony. Then too there is harmony of a different sort known as the melody of the worlds. These are built entirely from the chords, only arranged slightly differently. The ideal chord is considered the seven cord, which is not usually found in the musical learning or notation. Here's how to build it.

Notice the whole steps and the use of the half in between. There are generally two steps in between except for the last use of the third. Can you guess which notes you would add in or change to create the mystical seven? The highlighted notes are generally layered one on top of the other to create melody and support. Now, let's try to figure out which sharps or flats to use, cause it should be up near the top. If you have access to a piano or musical instrument, play around with it until you see which these are. Their sound will give it away. It should sound rich and full, with lots of support, and only one or two notes a little bit off. Altogether, this will blend in nicely with the rest.
Unanswered Prayer
Dear God in Heaven above,
Look down on me in love
And grant all I ask of you.
My request is known to you
As for this prayer I've striven
But no answer to me was given.
Then, I'm ashamed to say
That I from you turned away
With answers found in other ways.
Disappointed, I returned today.
I've all but given up on my dream;
Some cold-hearted Father, to me, you seem.
I asked you to –
Unfilled, I'm waiting still
Just inside the threshold of your door
In the throne room on the floor,
A child, ear pressed against the wall
Listening for your footsteps to fall.
Soon I believe
And your answer to receive
Lord in your Word my prayer
That even if it takes all eternity
Someday you'll grant my plea.
Though cold-hearted you appear,
To me, yet very near.
Our prayers you always hear
Rest assured an answer given.
Faithful
God Almighty changes never;
Nothing can me from him sever.
His steadfast love reaches
Beyond death's shrouds
As his faithfulness, unto the clouds.
He remains forever the same;
Christ Jesus is his name.
He's faithful each morning when I wake
And at death my soul to take.
Even when I fail or from him flee
He's still faithful for his own name's sake.
His child he could never forsake
Though all my friends should leave or fail
And doubts or fears assail.
Though I'm surrounded by the angry deep
His promises he yet will keep.
Often, him we doubt but faithful he remains;
The one who trusts him fully a crown of life obtains.
Failure
Lord, I've done nothing for thee;
All my life I've lived for me.
Caring not for me, you gave up all
Your glory to come to a world so small
So, I may ransomed be
From sin's awful misery.
You call us all to work
In your vineyard and not shirk
From souls lost, hungry, needing you.
The work is great, it's true,
And the laborers be few.
But I sit and idly look at stuff
That's gone in just a puff
Of air. Yet you have done all for me.
I'm sorry, Lord, but I must be
Back to work; I'm busy, you see.
There's a caller at the door –
Shoo her on! I must mop the floor.
The phone begins to ring
As of his sales products, Joe sings.
A girl standing in a grocery store,
A hobo staring at a cement floor,
And a neighbor needing cheer –
How I brushed off people with a blink.
But do I ever stop to think
Before I judge and shoo
That all these need Jesus too.
How will they hear if I don't go
And his love in me gladly show?
Way to God
God himself came to earth
To have a lowly birth
And walk the steps mankind has trod
To show us the only way to God.
From our sins and fears release
He came to give us inward peace.
For God my guide and friend will be
A place prepared for me;
When death's dark shadow longer
Held within its' power stronger –
The Lamb of God for sin was slain
Suffering our guilt, shame, and pain.
He who should've worn Heaven's crown
Instead all our sins and sorrows borne.
He died that I anew might live
Victorious in his perfect life he gives
Freely to all those that seek him truly
Be they great, small, or the most unruly.
Then in his righteousness dressed,
Not as I myself, but with the very best.
At last God himself might see
His own dear Son reflected in me.
Once, through the gates of death he passed;
It seemed death had conquered him at last.
Behind him they closed with clanging ring
As he, God's Son, felt their sting.
He was securely locked in
Although he had committed no sin.
After three days passed he
Tore them down, broke all their bars
And forcibly took the key.
For he is risen again you see.
At last, he triumphed, rose above –
Forever he will be the Son of love.
He says, "Follow me, I'll lead you through
Life for I alone am faithful and true.
Come to me as I to you give rest
And to all those weary, sin oppressed.
I'm the Way that many have trod;
For behold I'm the only way to God.
His Church Bride
Once there was a nobleman's Son
Who lived with his Father, one.
In a city far away surrounded by
Many angels who lived on high
As his messengers and servants.
He owned eternal riches untold
And made a beautiful world.
Star fields were hung like a blanket around
A tiny planet formed perfectly round.
On it, he shaped the first man, Adam.
Then he gave Eve, madam,
To be a spouse and pure delight.
Then God saw that his Son of light
Had none to be his bride;
There was none for him to walk beside.
So, a wondrous plan the Father made.
He chose one to be arrayed
As his Son's precious bride
Who would stand by his side.
For he would love her forever
And be separated never.
Yet still she knew him not
But he knew her name and lot.
The Son saw her live each day in misery,
Always yearning to be free
From sin's frightful wage and load.
Pity, mercy, and love to her he showed
As this miserable one he sought.
With his precious blood he bought
Her life and washed away her sin
Making her heart anew within.
She now knew his name and grew
Each day to love him as her lover true.
Their hearts in secret prayer often met.
So the engagement ring was set
In the Heavens, firm and sure.
Nothing could ever allure
His heart away from hers.
It was living proof that he loved her forever
And nothing would her from him sever.
At last, the long-awaited day came
As her faith, sight at last became.
Before God he stands with radiant light
Beside his bride who's dressed in white.
Skyfall
Should the skyfall
Streaming down
Upon this Godforsaken
Unworthy town.
Should autumn rains come
Pouring down
Over the land and for this
Waiting crown.
Should then it lay as
Folded sheet
On the cold hard earth below
Sun to meet.
Should all there be
Quite bereft
As silent streets with
Nothing left.
Should it make room
For more
Shattered glass blown out
Across the floor.
Should the ground shake
Tear it down
Back to foundation basics
Without sound.
Should we begin to soar
Maintain position
Up there so high with the
Wind in motion.
Should some others fly
Wings spread
Across the sullen sky
Freer then.
Should then we meet in
Other worlds
As lovers true and pure
Hearts unfurled.
Should the skyfall
Finally come
Remind of all that's
Said and done.
Should we find peace
Maybe then
As finally brought to
Promised end.
