Something that Matters

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

Galatians 4:3

I don't know if you've only just noticed, but there's something going on with the elements around here, something that everyone's missed. Well, it's not just here but everywhere too, isn't it? I couldn't have hardly been the only one to find that something's a little bit off besides just Sid the Sloth. You'll have to excuse him at first cause he's from a different period of time than this one right here. It's one that was very much borne from the cold. It chilled your bones and so everything froze. I don't know much about the legions of men. Perhaps some like the Eskimos that live in ice houses called igloos with fur round their nose are just made for the cold. You know, they've got those little things called parkas, made from animal skins. Perhaps it's survivable with the right sort of equipment, all the other things considered. Just maybe though, it's what's left of the cold back when everything froze. This was back in Paul's day back when Christ came here and died so you know there's some truth to those words really and maybe even soon some hope and life in them too beyond just what we knew. It sounds pretty at first if you don't know what you knew that our God never gets tired or lonely and so never grows old. Even so though, haven't you ever wondered at all the accounts and stories that told of it thus. There's somewhere in Siberia and a few other places that haven't thawed round the globe, that stay perpetually cold with some creatures trapped still in the ice it is told. I don't know about you, but that's a bondage for sure. In fact, there's a few that've said the permafrost layer in some places hasn't thawed to this day. That's that part of the earth deep down under the first, you know the layer that lies up above. With all the heat way down deep under the earth's surface, there's a fire that stays perpetually cold. You'll see it erupting in volcanoes in some places as up from the surface. Mostly these are Sub-saharan deserts or some tropical islands. However, there's outliers with this as all things included would tell. For instance, the volcano in northwestern America lies dangerously close to the permafrost's position. You can also wonder what's wrong I suppose as there's freezing and burning simultaneously occuring round in the earth. The two just don't sound natural in the same sort of sentence. Nor does the opposite position of those that agree with what was termed as the ice age once proper also propogating that the earth is continually warming. Well, which is it then cause I didn't think both are occurring at once. It sounds like a bondage of sorts if you'd asked me once before. You know, with what all of the freezing and burning of earth all at once. Perhaps it's gotten somewhat tired of these sorts of conditions too, you can't be too sure.
