Righteous Sight
Gradually society without law and order fell and grew. As it gained momentum, it picked up a few key pieces of the puzzle. First, was the issue of every man doing what was right in his own eyes as in Judges 21:25. Second, without anything to guide or even train, the warnings of Genesis 6:5 were bound to happen. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Here the issue was very simple. Man had found they could have virtually anything they wanted. Want they did from food to drink to all sorts of other things. It was unto this scene that Noah and the giants came. Matthew 24:37-39 tells of it thus.
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
See, they had everything they ever wanted. There was knowledge, power, and the pursuit of happiness, all at their fingertips. Nor was society at this time ever fully born, being yet unmade. Soon though, we will get to meet the guardians of such a world.
