But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth

John 1:12-14

Now that we have seen man, let us see ought of the Father himself, Jesus Christ the righteous. There is some power and some sonship and some belief on his name to be seen in this house. These are things that define both the house and those with it if you will. Belief on God though always works results. Unless, of course, it has been in vain that you believed. But how many of you know that calling the Lord's name is never in vain nor will he ever suffer it to be so for long. See how quick both then as of now God is to answer and rescue his people. We believe on his name then because the God that first loved us is the same one calling us even now back to himself. Yet when it comes to the calling of God, some of us have messed some stuff up. How can a son ever be accepted again after it has fallen such a long way from the Father.

So too how can the other son be restored were it not for the joy of the Lord. So then wherever you are, it's time to return to the Father. He is calling all those of his house even now back to himself. So too has he removed our sins as far away as the east is from the west and will remember them no more' as in the Word. The distance between them is as the old song says even from one nail scarred hand to the other. Surely some have thought they are bound to run into each other at some point. But that's just the thing, when you keep going east, you'll never be able to run into west.

When he shall come into his eternal kingdom, he shall divide the sheep from the goats, if you will remember as in the Scripture.

Do you remember the distinction? There's some sheep on the right hand, with the goats on the left. To the right then there is the eternal kingdom and with it the great King. To the left then is outer darkness with its weeping and gnashing of teeth. Well then, there must be something between them and indeed there will be. While the sins might be as far removed as the east and the west, there are still the same old places we like to go and the new ones to which God is already taking us. Being saved then is a spectrum with lots of states in between. It's like if I wanted to go to Heaven but I got stopped along the way. First, I've got the rest of this class to teach then there's the service and many other things there to do. So, what about let's just get the first things first done you should do. First though, hold up. You're from somewhere right, probably a geographic location or a place on the map. Perhaps it's one that once had a name, even if you have long since forgot. This is the part then that occurs after the flesh. But when you know the Lord, such things matter not. Rather it matters only where your Heavenly Father is from and as such where he is going.

That then is the physical part of you, the where you're from. you should have some family to which you were born. This is the hereditary part of it, the one that occurs by the blood. It's who your father is and his father and their fathers before that. See, it's the God of the forefathers if you will. Only, don't be like Seriah and actually have four fathers. That was a tad bit excessive and if I remember rightly, it didn't end too well for him when the king of Babylon finally showed up. It seems King Nebuchadnezzar didn't take too kindly to any man having more fathers than anyone else had a right to even as a prince. See, when it comes to the Lord he cares not who your weather father is but rather of the eternal, even that of the Lord. God has come to bring his people out. For this cause then it takes some supernatural calling when it comes to the Lord.

Then there is what you can do or have or bring to offer it unto the Lord. Even that to him amounts to all our righteousness which is made as nothing before him. See, God does not care what you have to bring or offer his house. The God who has done all for you needs not ought then save that of yourself. As with the disciples so long ago, could it be they had only to follow the Lord. See, such were fisherman who fed their villages well before they took left all to follow the Lord. Trust him then to care for that natural ability as with your family and hometown. For the God that has called surely can figure something out. He has brought you thus far, has he not. So surely, he has not called you here just to leave you alone.

Even now does the Lord call those known of his own house unto himself. When it comes to this supernatural calling by the Lord, man has only two responses. See man can either accept him reject him or continue in the same state in which they were called. It forms a picture then of the fisherman so long ago who left all to follow their Lord.
