- Originates from Arabia mostly and other parts of the world where these things are from

Preparation

- Thought to seal off wounds creating a hydrating environment

- Prevents against bacterial intrusion through process of simple diffusion

- Heated or warmed oil when applied to the skin carries risk of burns

- Believed to staunch the flow of blood outwards from a cut or a wound

- Other uses for essential oils include incense and aromatherapy for mood enhancement

- Combinations with wine for best results
