Of Muttered Things
36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Matthew 5:36-37
Well, it's about time to finish the matter off. It really doesn't matter which court you come before, does it? All they care about is what was done, said, the intent, and whether any harm has come of it or not. The person we had seen before is having a lot of issues see. Not only can they not perform their oaths, they also struggle moving from one matter to the next. The truth of the matter really is that the one that swore is having issues with their head, their hair, and quite possibly everything else. Perhaps I shouldn't speculate as to reasons in this case. Suffice to say though, that the person hasn't come to harm just yet. Only they cannot rest in themselves but rather in another which is who they really trusted all along. Instead, the court has just let this person off with just a warning. In this case, let the judgement stand as yes, yes, and no, no just in case something else comes creeping in like harm, old age, stress, worry, or just gray hairs. Come on now, don't do the court like that. Wish no evil and don't come to any harm. Take the judgement then and go. Case, next.
