Galatians 1:11-17
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man
That is why Scripture always said of the Lord "I am that I am" has been sent to all you of Exodus 3:14. There could be no other confusion. For who else in all of mankinds long and sordid history has claimed such a personal and intimate relationship with his creation. Through all of their mess ups and all of their wrongs, he has been there. Just as he was with Hagar long ago, so is he also with you. Such was his power that he could just walk up and say "I am" in the garden and they all fell over backwards. There is not time to play with him now. You know who is talking. From the "my Lord" you know what they have done to me to the "my God" of the garden he has not changed. He is still the same then as he is now. Perhaps the issue is us if the delay and the silence of God are a judge. Could it be that we are the ones changing rather with time, the weather, and life itself. How much more with it then should we not rather trust in the unchanging power of God.
