Manoahs Prophecy - The Second Episode
Hello, we are glad you have joined us back for another look at the scriptures. Starting in Manoa's prophecy, 2. It is without something that much we know. They start in verse 21.
O people, worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may attain piety. He who made the earth a habitat for you and the sky a structure and sends water down from the sky and brings out fruits thereby as a sustenance for you. Therefore, do not assign rivals to God while you know.
And if you are in doubt about what we have revealed to our servant, then produce a chapter like these and call your witnesses apart from God if you are truthful. But if you do not and will not and you will not, then beware the fire whose fuel is people and stones prepared for the disbelievers. And give good news to those who believe and do righteous deeds, that they will have gardens beneath which rivers flow.
Whenever they are provided with fruit, they are from a substance, a substance, a sustenance. They will say, this is what we were provided with before, and they will be given the like of it. And they will have pure spouses therein, and they will abide therein forever.
(1:44 - 2:11)
God does not shy away from making an example of a gnat or something above it. As for those who believe, they know that it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, what did God intend by this example? He leads astray many thereby, and he guides many thereby, but he misleads thereby only the evildoers.
(2:13 - 2:39)
There actually is something to notice with this. At first, it seems like the last section that sounds awfully barren and dry. However, if you are climbing a mountain and you have that perspective firmly set in your heads, then at this time, you will be highly inclined to believe that that is all this thing holds.
(2:39 - 4:01)
And in fact, your perspective really does shape the world in which you and I live, especially when it comes to the scriptures. When you talk about the life that is seen, and how there is a revelation that has been sent down from the Lord, notice it is not whatever we want, but rather it is a truth from himself. So often in life, you and I like to tend to sit there, and we think that whatever we see and the here and now is all that there is.
That is it. We are bounded by the limitations of whatever situation or thing that we're in. And we think so often that just because there was a bad example, and that somehow we are tied to it, and that it somehow defines us.
Yet God wants us to know that that is not all there is in this life. In fact, if we have that perspective only, we are as nothing more than as we discussed last time, with people and jinn alike. We have a fallen perspective as part of the curse that was formed.
(4:01 - 6:57)
We have that perspective as those having departed away from their Lord. And you know, God is the supreme witness of all. He sees, hears, and knows all.
So that just as Hagar was in the desert, sitting there underneath whatever shade or whatever shelter she could find, sitting there by a well, calling out to the Lord to save her from death. And she had with her her son at the time. The scripture is largely silent on the matter of Hagar after that.
But when it comes to the matter of Hagar, and the example that she holds for us all, it is of a person who called on the name of the Lord. We are told in the scripture to seek him while he may be found, and to call upon him while he is near. And maybe she did not make it into the hall of faith section, but yet she was still counted by her faith as having attained something that was quite near to her in the text.
Even the God that saw her, and heard her, and knew her thereby. See, our God had of seen her call out in this world. He is the God that knows everything.
He knows the end from the beginning before time yet began. He is God. So that when that day comes, and we stand before him, how many of us can accuse him of sin? How many of us can say that he has been unjust with our lives? Probably not very many of you from the outset.
Probably not many at all. Because that is the thing. We praise him that every knee would bow, and every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
So that everything that is done in our lives is for his praise and glory alone. And he is absolutely right, just wholly perfect and true. And everything that he does, all things, whatever they be, just as in creation, when he made everything.
And behold, it was very good. It's not anything new. It's not anything changed.
He is the God. He is the same from the beginning to the end. Yet he is God.
(6:57 - 7:57)
There is not a thing that escapes his attention. He sees, hears, and knows all implicitly. And it is from this that we are instructed thereby.
Those who violate God's covenant after its confirmation, and sever what God has commanded to be joined and commit evil on earth. These are the losers. How can you deny God when you were dead and he gave you life? Then he will put you to death.
Then he will bring you to life. Then to him you will be returned. It is he who created for you everything on earth.
Then turn to the heaven and made them seven heavens. And he is aware of all things. When your Lord said to the angels, I am placing a successor on earth.
(7:58 - 9:19)
They said, will you place in it someone who will cause corruption in it and shed blood while we declare your praises and sanctify you? He said, I know what you do not know. And he taught Adam the names, all of them. Then he presented them to the angels and said, tell me the names of these if you are sincere.
They said, glory be to you. We have no knowledge except what you have taught us. It is you who are the knowledgeable, the wise.
He said, Adam, tell them their names. And when he told them their names, he said, did I not tell you that I know the secrets of the heavens and the earth and that I know what you reveal and what you conceal? Lastly, there is nothing here from the Lord. He knows all and sees all.
And as such, he knows, like David had said in the book of Psalms, he knows our getting up and our laying down. He knows when we rise up and when we lay down, he knows when we go down to the grave, he knows all things. And there is not a place in this world that you can go to escape him.
(9:20 - 12:13)
Had David gone down to the pits of hell, he was there. Had he made his bed and jail, oh God, isn't up to the unmissed ends of the heavens still there with his hand find him. See, our God is the God who knows all of his children.
And thusly, as Adam was in the garden lost, trying to run away from the Lord at that time, as some have said, paradise lost, but nothing was lost at that time to the Lord and the shepherd, as you would have later revealed out looking for the lost sheep of his pasture as the lamb that was slain from before the foundations of the world. Yet still he was God. And he would have walk with each of our children, with each of his children.
And when he says our, and the text, and when he says we, it is not speaking of the messenger at this point, because it is not about the messenger, surely, instead, it is as someone who has come from the Lord, whether as the angel of the Lord that was speaking, or else there's someone that was sent of the same, but rest assured, the message must only come from the Lord. It has to be purified, just like gold in the furnace, seven times it is tried. Oh, God knows all things, sees all things, hears all things.
It is one of the main things that we believe about him in general. So that when he went looking for Adam there in the garden, he went knowing already what had been done, and that nothing ever escaped the leave of his son. And we said to the angels, bow down to Adam.
They bowed down, except for Satan. He refused, and was arrogant, and was one of the disbelievers. We said, Oh, Adam, inhabit the garden, you and your spouse, and eat from it freely, as you please, but do not approach this tree, lest you become wrongdoers.
But Satan caused them to slip from it, and caused them to depart the state they were in. We said, go down, some of you enemies of one another, and you will have residence on earth and enjoyment for a while. Then Adam received words from his Lord, so he relented towards him.
(12:13 - 14:20)
He is the relenting, the merciful. We said, go down from it, all of you. Yet whenever guidance comes to you from me, then whoever follows my guidance, they have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.
But as for those who disbelieve and reject our signs, they are these, are the inmates of the fire, wherein they will remain forever. Oh, children of Israel, remember my blessings which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill your pledge to me, and I will fulfill my pledge to you, and fear me. And just as he told Satan to bow down to Adam, see how God is the same from beginning to end, so that it matters not which way you should go.
He knows the end from the beginning, as time would soon tell, and thus the path still is just of him. Yet there is something else to be seen in this text, and something you're known of there surely, that the first Adam had sinned, and the last Adam was that of Jesus Christ himself, so that when there is a bowing down spoken of, with the time when all things are accounted for, only he knows the end from the beginning, as time would soon tell, only he can do all things perfectly, as right in its time, and so can he bring out the blessing there from it all. We get in situations at times, and know not what we see, but he is the God who makes all our paths, known yet to him, and he is the one who reveals them all, and they're to us in his time.
(14:24 - 22:49)
Manoahs Prophecy, 110. There is that little word without yet again, just as the book, the revelation of Jesus Christ would have said, for without are dogs and sorcerers, and whoever loves and makes a lie, that I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify in the churches, and that he comes quickly, and his reward is with him, to give every man according to his work, of such that it is, whichever it is in this life, see our God has sent his angel, he has sent himself, not of his son, so it is not about the messenger, it is not, although the messenger does play a small part in it all, and sometimes we do not have all the answers found, yet our God is the one who would know most certainly, and yet there is answer with him, see if we could give an answer, then we would be God of the same, yet because we cannot, then we trust all our ways yet with him, in the name of God, the gracious, the merciful, that is where it starts yet again, when there comes God's victory and conquest, and you see the people entering God's religion and multitudes, then celebrate the praise of your Lord, and seek his forgiveness, he is the acceptor of repentance, you and I have faced a lot of dark days in our lives, we may not know exactly which way to turn, and as we, like Adam, and all those before him, perhaps not chronologically speaking, but those also the same, that have been affected there by the curse until that day, when there is no more curse, and the day when our God will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more sorrow, nor crying, nor death, nor any pain, for the Lord God himself is the light of that place, perhaps we do not know yet which way to turn, yet surely a path will be found just by seeking him there, when there was prophecy, the surah, al-kafiran 109, in the name of God, the gracious, the merciful, say oh disbelievers, I do not worship what you worship, nor do you worship what I worship, nor do I serve what you serve, nor do you serve what I serve, you have your way, and I have my way, thus it is not our way that we speak of, but the Lord's in particular, there is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death, just as we talked about before, the broad and the narrow way, and what seems right there for us all, it is better, do you not think that we should follow him there in the midst, there in particular, it would be better, more like it, if we were not as the hands of someone who tore down the Lord, who sought to turn people away from the way they were on, away from the path of the Lord, perhaps it would be better not to be like him than at all, perhaps it would not be wise to have much riches thusly, and try to enter the kingdom, perhaps it would not be wise there at all to seek the comforts here in this life, perhaps it is not wise thereabouts to seek drudgery and end the strife for yourself, perhaps it is better surely should we only seek unto the Lord of the worlds, and stray not from him whose path we are on, thus the leader and the guidance thereof should have always been sent from the Lord, it may be hard to tell there at first, yet that is where the next section would come in at yet again, see how God knows and hears all things, before time yet began he is God, and before the end ends he is God of the same, so thus as we turn to him here yet again, Manoahs Prophecy, 108, that little word without, again in the midst, in the name of God the gracious, the merciful, we have given you plenty, so pray to your Lord and sacrifice, he who hates you is the loser,
Dear heavenly Father, Father of God, we come to you now, Lord I ask for your people, that you would give us forgiveness for where we have strayed from you Lord, forgive us Lord for those times in our lives, where we have not turned to you and trusted you in the way that we should Lord, help us to follow you always Lord, help all of our days to ring with your praise, and Father God be the God for your people, provide Lord for food and shelter, for everything needed Lord, we trust you for all that we have in this life Lord, to be the provision, the healing Lord of sickness, therefore your children cause our bodies Lord, to line up with your word Lord, it is by your power you have made us and all we are formed, Father God we are the people, the sheep of your pasture Lord, help us to trust you for that in our midst, and Father God bless us now, in your mighty, precious, holy, blessed name we pray, Amen. Until next time.
