Little Children Whose Are You?

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

Basically, a parable is just another fancy way of saying a story. Only, it is other than just a story, is not it? See, some stories have lessons hidden behind them. That is exactly what Jesus is aiming at here as he tells the stories of his house back home. Since the disciples and those listening did not know much about it, this was the next best solution. In essence, Jesus is saying to all who would listen that they are welcomed in his house. Yet it is other than just a welcome. It is also a warning. Just imagine if I were to say, when you come over beware of the dog. Here we see that one of his servants, disciples, or

guests also has a problem. Let us see what was done. Now it seems almost impossible that the kingdom of Heaven should come mustard sized.

Yet that is just what has happened. It is hard to imagine something so large becoming so small. So, the man took and hid it due to Its size. Also, his method of hiding is quite unusual. You would think that being familiar with the master would have made him suspect better. Knowing Jesus, he made a huge world and also, he knew the size of the Masters own kingdom. Though his own has been borrowed or battered or traded and such, he knows how to come back and find it again. Other than that he knows its location, so nothing escapes him. Then what of the kingdom with Its lostness and such.

Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and

lodge in the branches thereof.

Now the has man fallen into the trap set, that of the kingdom of Heaven being easily transportable. You know, when you were little its not too hard to

tote you around. But now that you have grown, well, there is no way of concealing you. It started off small, something very easily overlooked. Yet when it was all grown up, it became the most of them all. In fact, it is not even an herb at all but a tree. Just imagine any going to visit the other mans house that knew of the master. They would immediately recognize the work of the kingdom for there was no hiding it. Some have likened the mustard seed to a faith tree. But , that is not what Jesus was said at all. So The Book of the Generation of Jesus Christ 17:20 agrees. When you interpret things, sometimes it is best to go from what is already known. Then will the unknown become very shortly much than in reach.

Perhaps that is what it means to have faith like that mustard seed, that grows and grows throughout the course of your life. As made sight things appear, you will soon find the tree though in the wrong place will by his power

uproot to be carried back home. See, with the birds their lodging only is temporary. Any day now, the kingdom will find itself discovered and with it returned. Then what you may wonder of the man that took and borrowed that tree. Later on, you will find as you grow-up in life that Gods grace is needed in every time and each space. This will help you endure and also send it back home. Then what of the man that borrowed the seed. Perhaps he too would find some such shelter or lodging or comfort or faith of the kingdom in his own hour of need. But then Jesus blood he as should you plead. Just in case then any comes looking, you would find that the kingdom with Jesus has come safely back home.
