And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I
will speak unto thee.
Son of man 2
Perhaps you and I had both heard how that hearts and lives had been changed at his Word. It certainly was enough of a sight with enough fright to get this man Ezekiel to have heard all his words. Consider how too that in the busyness the Lord God had come in. So that in his naming of Ezekiel though those around perhaps heard not a word, though we would have when Ezekiel had done spake what he heard. Is that not then the fashion as of most prophets and priests and kings unto God. So well had my people known too time and again even though perhaps we had not yet ceased from our sin. That is the whole point is it not in the Lord God just changing his name to but reflect him and then. Had we not heard heard how that the Lord fed us, guide us, and led us no matter where we had wandered, how oft, or the place were in. How well Hagar had known his forbearance no matter the situation how often, how grim in it remained not the breath of her sin nor even what a man had but done there to her and again. After all, it was him that had sent her away after returned in similar fashion though you never know of Sarah or simply at request of the Lord. Still though it was the same name who had urged us to flee back to him, you know, when Sarah had been mean perhaps not as much as she ought. Still though, the cruelty was enough not to want to return. Unlike how Sarahs handmaid back then had figured or no matter too how she knew the Lord for, it did not do much for us at this time. I what a time such as this that the Lord should speak unto man. What the Lord said unto us though we were not really told. First off he came in calling Ezekiel as like to himself. I know, man once was made in the image of God so its said. I had heard all the doctrine and read all the lines. What we had of it anyway then at least fractured in state and fragmented at best. Sort of like how the mad king had once taken a knife there to his Word. It was pretty well near impossible to replace it of course. Yet still the damage had already been done and even so it persisted on down through the years. In case you did not know it just yet our God is the One who ts all things right with his Son. When you hear the Words as clearly as you ought then of course what you are left with is a long unimaginable choice. He is called after his name because our God I would understand later is the One who changes all things. Though it is not really like to his name is it just yet for as John would have said with some letters in sum and testimony also that was written passed down through the years that our God dwelt with man doown below and how could it be lest the Son of God was then come. It is a deity issue is it not then one that clears the perspective and frees all the years. How good is it though that his Word had just returned to the crowd. I told you, we had waited for this moment a mighty long time.
2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
Our God has just spoke to his house yet again. You know, at no time has there ever been too far we have wandered estranged from our God that his love does not reach us and our promise of him. The spirit of God though first entered into this man borne of dust and in the hearing caused him to speak a few words. Perhaps it might have been the king that put us here first but God knowing these things to which we have come makes it clear its everyones fault in hope and in sum. Thusly it was not for nothing but rather the sins in collective for which we were carried off captive. That is just the thing though is how will we know what is sin or not without our God having said. Then again too what is up with us for not having heard all his words. Therefore in transgression were we taken and in sins were we made. Knowing man as much as he does, it seems there is hardly hope for the future it is a good thing though that our God had made Ezekiel to stand like a man. Indeed it is the only way we will ever stand before him there at the end. Without the God then who changes all things there would have been no hope and a future to which we have come. Surely the viewpoint would be enough for changing this thing. Thankfully though this son of man did not talk back or have ought else to say. We all knew how exhausting it could be just in getting man to follow his way. Thus was the prophet sent though even if God had just to testify of himself. In fact, there had been many such things from men who predicted the future, their shapes, and the times. Though he was right about one thing it is not what he said. Thusly the revealer of our hopes and our dreams even so too just waits to be seen.
6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
As we would find out later and soon how that our God waits to be known. It is he actually who has been there all along in the wanting and watigin the watching and praying who has walked among us all from the start. The same God who watches over his children he sees in the dark. From whatever was done in the secret place to the hearts of all men, the same God it is who sees us again. Perhaps we ought to have known better still how he would handle this thing. That we too might have been more like unto him. For all of our stress and our worries and the making of noise, it seems we too might have heard ought he should say and so too be found in his way. The Lord God has burst into a house as though ruined and desolate. One who spared among us not even a widow or that the children too might desolate dwell. Funny thing really that our should have said fear not at this time. Almost as we had seen as of the great big harvest machine, not as though ought were unbalanced or broken or even so too had but ceased from the glory. Though there be briers and thorns yet around came a rose. Though but dust and some changes much as the ashes which we scattered over our heads which were dry like the sands som too had but a scorpions touch. That is to say some words that would have bit them and sting. Far cry too from the melodies broken which should have been our hope and our consolation from out of desolation almost as though arising forth from the stones. My, he is the goodest Father supposed better still than ought we had known. Ought to have known though would come up on hearing his words, suffice to say though if this son of man has been speaking them as well as he should. When giving a message, God expects his voice to be heard and even more than that too is just a knowing his words. For this then, there is one simple cure to eat what he has been given there in full. Perhaps you do not yet know the sacred rituals there of eating to God and our times though that is what he has known us as and to such would he come. Far be it from me to question ought of his glory and purpose and intents on the matter the effects of which to be seen and heard and known around in our land. Thus it is just of a knowing him better and a thus and still of his Word.
9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
At this point, our God is in the habit of showing what he had said thus untoward. Perhaps the scroll to be eaten was something still that our eyes should have seen. Then again perhaps it was what we had not really known. Just think for a minute about the son of mans skill in repeating and also then too the task he was given. Only God could have had a final say on the issue at hand. So often in life man plans the ways but only God can set right with his hand. No matter who was responsible for creating this mess that we were in whether Gods judgement or the results of our sin. No matter how done or how far the issue become our God was setting all things right with his Son. No matter who done it whether our God up above who was setting all things right with his love or whether the issue was just some mess that had been made there by man, on this the Lord silent remained probably for very good reason that the earth might not be filled with the blood. Instead rather the earth is filled with his glory just as he said for in it is our faith and our hope and our promise been seen still and worked out in his love. No matter whatever the book or the scroll and whatever on it had been written then as a whole. No matter how far or how deep we have flown. It was proof enough that he remembered us still.
