Telling someone the story they want doesn't always help the situation. In some cases, it may be the only light that someone has. That may be the only way to resolve their situation. Since we are in the personal business, our job can sometimes be to give someone hope in their situation until you help them find their way through.

View of Reality: It doesn't matter how other people see it. Actually, what matters is how other people perceive it. You can use their views to create a false reality, one which they themselves are subjected to or you can subject them to the unpleasant truth or you can blend reality and their expectations and views carefully influencing how the situation is perceived and how they respond to it. Reality is not linearly shaped because it goes in and out the window much like Schrodinger's cat, both alive and dead at the same time. In reality, it's a straight line through the window but humans have a hard time seeing through mirrors unless the glass is broken. It's a "seeing through the glass darkly" point of view but then "face to face." The goal is to "know" even as we are "known." The known versus the unknown. To see you must be seen. To know you must be known. How does this apply to business?

You don't need to hunt for truth to sell yourself or the market. Let the market go. It can work for you if you let it. But what people want, that is how you can tell how on-base you are versus what you offer and how other offers differ. Again, keep it tight. It don't matter if it ain't true, what matters is if people believe it. As a keeper of the truth, it's your job to protect people from themselves or to guide them in a desired direction with it. It may not be your place to tell them everything nor yet to allow them full access to it as truth in itself is fragile. People are dangerous and can create situations and large messes very easily.

Objective views are rarely found between the situation and the alternatives. They are most often formulated by those who have also experienced similar as these tend to more objectively see the solution from an absolute point of view as well as knowing which options won't work and which are less desirable. Those outside with no experience in the situation are more prone to rush to judgement or form emotional or one-sided opinions of the situation.

Multiple Realities: Allow you to make moves that are hidden even from the market while still making an impact upon it. Sometimes there may be more than two realities depending on which perspective you are looking from. The home buyer, the seller, the agent, and the inspector all have a view or multiple viewpoint which culminate in an expanded but often convergent market. Your role as a guardian is to make the market divergent: to safeguard your position as a leader and your profits as well as the customer's interests above teaching others how to run theirs.

Results: People with money restore truth to themselves and bring results to the world rather than educate everyone. Nothing wrong with leadership but people would either follow or not and this is how whole markets and their alternates have been built.

Crowd mentality: By ourself we can do so little. Together we can do so much. Others have attributed it to collective madness, but the most sense can be found when there is a group meeting of minds. This is seen in Facebook with input and interest from others who may later play a vital role in the process of building your business.

Your clients are lost, dazed, and confused. They are tired from what they know and do not know any better. They require guidance and firm leadership without feeling herder or led. They must be made to feel as though the choice were entirely their own and only facilitated by your assistance. They have drunk deeply of the wine of the cup of the Lord which makes the people stagger. The situation is there and it is all they know, for why else would you be there to help or assist. Chances are that you have too. Thus, you must first help yourself before anybody else. Maybe form a human chain if you have to. But I'm making it out which means you can too. If we all stick together, then we'll end up in better places and green pastures together. See, I've already made it. Here's the plan. Now let's do this thing so you too can enjoy a brighter tomorrow. That, my friends, is what it's all about.

Social Media: obviously you don't need to be a ghost. Your clients aren't ghosts surely. You just have to beat them to it. Take back your control. You're the need and the authority to social media or their friends and relatives.

If people 'go mad' they were already before they got into the group situation. This is why you ought to handle your clients one on one or in small groups so they can be resolved within themselves when they finally get around others who can enable or discourage the process of creation.

Looking for help in all the wrong places. Part of what makes us so hard to find is the wrong places first of all. Secondly, the people. They are dazed and confused from the current market offerings of course know no better. If I know better or even how to get there, it is up to me to light the way, tastefully, without a full-on nude peep show going on. If I cannot do that, then I better get away from the bad paths so my way doesn't get them wrapped up with them. The last thing you want in a business is confusion in anybody's minds. You want them to wake up and chose you for clear and obvious reasons. First you need a good path. Second you need a good search. Third you want a clear way. That is unclutter and unbox yourself. You have to be fit to lead without any other distractions.

The Self: Having to step outside the self and those things that make up you in order to see how things really are. Therein lies success, inside the true vision of stepping out, up, and beyond. Then almost nothing can define you.
