Held Unto Loosely

Torn in Between

For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.

25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

Philippians 1:23-25

I do not know about you but perhaps you have heard a thing or two borne about as tales on the wind. They were called rumors, believe it or not, from there back again. Nor are these as some have required especially needful save for only Christ once again. Paul here is very much not making a joke or even some fun. Indeed, there is nothing even remotely humerous in this situation to which he is so called up till now having been missing. I mean, if Paul would rather, I was sure we all know what he had chose to be with the Lord. Perhaps Paul would find as some often do that his way got brighter and brighter as time then went on even so being lit with the Lord. Just think of it now, this one to whom he was in bondage and chains. It is very much a servant perspective if you will, though servant above all of the very much Just. There is no Words to describe it then really, this one before whom and to whom all is now made. I was sure having a perspective as this, Paul would much rather be found with the Lord. Just think of a perspective as a point of view, if you will, one for seeing things rather. Now to you before whom you have come think of it this way, as one greater than and washed in the glory. You know, the whole before Abraham was I AM which certainly is the better state of the two to be in from the next. Basically it is like saying Christ is before in all and through all things and by him all things consist. That little word consist, is an awfully tricky one. It means quite simply to hold all things in his hands. Doubtless, eternity with the Lord would be much better far rather than just from there until glory. Though Paul had a few things weighing on him down here below. There is that of the earthly condition of the saints that he had left in the church, as dear to him as his own very skin. Then too there is that of their own spiritual condition to be seen of a sorts. I mean, after all, whats the good of the blessing if not for the making way of eternity proper. Surely our Lord in his mercy would help and protect our beloved apostle, and not for his sake only but that of the entire world. I know, it is like saying Pauls life was just that much more important than most. Which really, would seem blasphemous to some and hurtful at best to the rest. So then it is not his life once again that herein is the issue whether he lives or he dies or just with Christ he abides. It is the calling on his life much rather that is above all standing true to the test. It gives him confidence and surety of his ministry before God until all be fulfilled. Much like as it seems, the Lord is not in the abandonment business. You probably know of a few like that much rather and doubtless feel some type of way for the struggle had not our God stepped in once again. Herein it seems that whoever the leader, our God would go on protecting his people. Given Pauls faithfulness to God and the glory, the obedience before which very much rather It is only from there until eternity with the keeping power of God as upon these pages his story would tell. Then, it is only eternity central with the love of the Father expressed in the living once on from there.

Just a Trust in the Lord

That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

Philippians 1:26-28

Paul it seems is planning on a trip in the end. It is awful hard to rejoice in the Lord always you see when things are not going the way that you would planned. It is harder still just to hope on still trust yet in him. Whether in his presence ofr absence though it is clear that Paul is the Lords. He is his to do wish whatever he pleases or thinks best or sees fit in the end. Maybe it is something more than Paul imagined or ever dreamed or hoped to be visible still once again. Perhaps though as these things often do, there is a few complications in factors. The abundance of the rejoicing is directly in contrast with Pauls current state of not having anything needed now and again. Surely he had have need of some on his journey for Christs sake his very best friend. Though if words were as wishes, Paul would have had wings like the wind. The conversation too whether it be just the topic or the matter in general ought to be in conduct as unto Christ very much rather. Indeed, when he should appear, the church there at the end might have nothing standing between them and Christ both now or of when. This abundance you see whether in rejoicing for Christ sake or in troubles too much to be imagined were it only but told as though something that is not even good for soul. Paul though has not any such worries as the ones that we would seen about on the journey. To him to live was Christ and to die was gain. We would already established that particular fact of the matter time and again. It seems his absence though was but a doorway for through which the Christ would enter the soul. You know, as some do who were missing their beloved teacher and leader and mentor in general. Paul though had some element of watchcare there for the soul. He is not as would be exactly a guardian angel but still some sort of leader in full. So that all things were done to the point of giving an account unto the Lord in the end. You would want very much an account like unto this to be only of him and the lives he had touched looking out very much. Though Paul it is quite neatly the largest man that we would see. He is merely something pointing back to the One before whom he stand. Pauls hearing of the events going on in the background were what he had relay now and then as unto the Lord. Then again, the house divided against itself was not going to work well as some advice once said that had personally come from our Savior and Friend. Thus, it would either stand now or fall all at once as unto him then. This unity though or oneness in spirit is something only the Lord can produce with it too being a very good thing for the being a person. Perhaps you would remember how that Aaron had found the oils of the priestly office as discussed time and again then in general to be more than exceedingly good for the skin. So good it was in fact, that this oil dripped off his head and his beard as though dew on Mount Hermon. That is to say, the Lord wishes to save all from their sin and so to bring them back home with himself once again. If you were finding yourself scared at the moment or in great trouble much rather, it is probably a better sign that you were needing some joy then in full. Sure the joy of the Lord is our strength but what about his salvation much rather. It is even better is it not to find the enemies of the faith now in the house having been put into there by our Lord. He is got saving power does not he, no matter wherever you would wander whether still or a now little gander. Perhaps you really should not be fearing his salvation at all in the question. When no doubts about it, the Lord has come through both time and again. It is his signature, his hallmark you would rather with the saints out of sinners and from there into glory. Surely, it would not be like this having occasion to fear in the light of his glorious appearing to take us all rather. Surely I like Paul would much prefer it if you did not go fearing in general, in part or in whole for much unto whom we have been given and still to just to find rest with the Lord.

Overwhelming of Mercy

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

Philippians 1:28-29; Philippians 2:1

I mean, sometimes it is the time, sometimes it is the weather, sometimes it is our sin or our fault crept into the middle, and sometimes it is just what our God would have rathered. That is not to say though that there is some fault to be found in the Lord. Last time we would talked about how that sometimes our enemies so once do appear but now just as of Christ then in full. It is what happens when there is more at stake that any of us know of so far. You see, Paul too had once known his salvation as one who would bring him from the uttermost into his service and so as on back home with him then. Then again, have not you heard of his story how that he had once been on the road to Damascus when he had met with his angel. It sounds fanciful to say such as the Lord would have put it, but was not there a loud voice in particular and the Lord that was there in the end. His eyes too had been blinded for the bright light that appeared, as though in darkness a light had now shined in his heart. I mean, it is the fulfillment of prophecy is not it, how good our God is to his children, his enemies, or anyone really who would but put their trust then in him. Paul though had been on his way to persecute the church or to kill all them that had been named for the Lord. Perhaps as some had once said they were doing God a favor or two both now and back then. Though the only favor they were doing is just a calling on the name of the Lord and you already know he is not going to let that go unanswered now is he. In fact, it is a conflict if you will with what you already know to be true. Therefore, it so follows that some of the more Christlike must extend his love and his favor to a world that is dying, whether dead wrong or just an enemy there in particular. It would follow then a story often told in the of Christ and his ministry that he came to the unworthy, the undeserving, them that had not, and even the least. The only other thing that follows then is to them that have done it to the least of these his children, as unto the Lord, they have done so even to him in their midst. That is why we feed the hungry, visit them that are in prison, bring water to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the fatherless and widow in their affliction, and keep ourselves unspotted from the world. It is so that at any time really our God might come in. That is why anything that is done is always as unto him. We were meant to be a consolation of Christ, a comfort of love, and a fellowship of the Spirit and as bowels and mercies of God expressed then in particular. Yet we were not though just as mere pictures rather who would as all things do point the whole world on back to his Son. Indeed, it is all just to the praise of his glory though a seeing of Christ there in particular. He is our consolation, our comfort, and our fellowship too with his Son. He is also our judgement and our high priest able to absolve any from even the utmost of sin. Until next time then, lets just trust only in him and also do good to all men no matter where or whom they might have followed on after nor yet how far they have wandered as off into sin.

Fulfilled of the Lord

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

At long last, Paul has determined in whatsoever state he is in therein then to be content in the end. It is a principle he is lived by certainly and one you would see spoken of again and again. Perhaps he need not the latest and greatest that much for certain. It seemed there remained to him though only Christ and a portion. Is not that all he is for each of his children, strength enough for the day and too some hope to be found along the way. This likemindedness then is not of man perhaps there in the end but rather of Christ in the midst of his people with whom the fulness of the Godhead so bodily dwells being made up of these then as well. There is also love to be seen that is there in the text. Perhaps it sounds rather far off as most ideas are at the moment. It is at times like these that the love of our God is not expressed so clearly as we would hope it to be or much less just for his mercies there then instead. Certainly love helps us endure all things, hope all things much rather and so on until failure is certainly no longer an option. Perhaps once again it is just the love of the Father in the hearts and lives of all men. Yes, God loves us sure but he had also sent his own Son to die for all men. This lets you know just how seriously the Lord is treating the sin, the disorders, and whatever else lays there within man. This love does not merely overlook the flaws that are visible but rather goes straight down into the heart of a person. It is a love indeed that changes the hearts and lives then as you would see. You might not see it just yet but rest assured when he is done there will no longer be a taking after then with nothing the same ever again at least not in his sight at the end. It seems there is a few other things in this house of the Lord though that is not just for show. Indeed, it is almost as fruit rather, an expression of his Spirit inside us that makes it all visible. It is almost enough to make all people just get together in love perhaps from opposing sides of the isle so to speak with differing opinions and belief systems much rather. It seems there is some accordance needed indeed, a coming together on some issues as unto the Lord. Then too there is the mind of the matter which above all should be subjected as unto the Lord God our Maker at first. It is good indeed though to be remembered of him and so too trust and do his will on the matter. It is this remembering the Creator in the days of our youth so that when we grow old we might not have such trials and such grief. Consider then the bond which holds all men together again is just that of Christ and his person. It is his mind is not it that helps us keep an eternal perspective of those. He is the one before all strivings cease, the earth and everything contained therein thence flees away. So then too it is a humility generally speaking that is entirely caught up in nothing save but for that of God and his glory. This eternal perspective much rather is just as unto his Son. With that in mind, lets continue on with all of Christ and the Lord walking with him rather as with one then accord. That is to say there is nothing to separate us from him there once again save but for death and eternity proper. Though you know with him having won the battle once for all of our sin, there is nothing more but only of him.
