Fish of the Sea
Fish ecosystems are a little different as these are relegated primarily to water. These live under the sea, in oceans, around rivers, and so forth. Basically, they are anywhere water can be found really. Fish exist in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. Each one has its' own function too based on the location and task to which it is assigned. Some fish are large, and some are small while others can hardly be seen at all.
Some fish, like the piranhas and sharks, eat only meat. These prey on other species of fish and even themselves. Should anything drop in the water, such as a person, the results might be fatal. Other fish, like algae eaters, catfish, and even some whales, will go on to filter plant-matter from out of their surroundings. Still other fish feed on small bugs that drop in the water.
The fish's environment really is quite diverse. Because their environment is so complex and little well-known, it is possible more goes on down in the depths of the sea than we'll ever really know. Due to this, little is known about their means of communication, though it is suspected that these at least try. It would be really nice if they did talk to other species though and maybe even among themselves, if you know what I mean. If you couldn't use words to talk, how would you communicate? These, I suspect, communicate by using shared patterns of behavior.
Those funny looking things on the sides and top that appear to be fans are known as fins. These fins help to propel the fish through the water. The larger fish though can move simply by contorting their body using a spasming motion. Still others, like dolphins would much rather jump. Sometimes you might notice the fish opening and closing their mouths. They do this to help them breathe, usually when they 're sick, injured, or in distress. Most fish have small little things on the sides of their bodies beside their fins known as gills. The gills allow the fish to breathe by filtering a mixture of air from the water. Other larger fish such as dolphins do not. These have specially adapted lungs that work very well in water.
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
