Eagle of the Air
The eagle is a large bird of prey much like the owl. The only difference is the eagle can be found flying during the day. Like any other bird, the eagle has a beak, claws, and also some wings. Unlike all others, the eagle's claws curve in on the end. This allows them to swoop down out of the air in search of its' prey. Once a smaller bird or animal is found, the eagle will swoop in and pounce, often carrying it off in its' claws. Due to the shape and size of the claws, once its' prey has been caught the bird will seldom let go. This unique quality has led to a few eagles being killed by mistake when it swooped down and caught the wrong prey. Not all prey is nice and docile you see. The eagle though doesn't always possess rational thinking processes when it sees something small it can easily move. The eagle also possesses something besides its' sharp claws and that is a distinctive look.
Some eagles are a nice gold in color while others almost appear brown or black like the raven. Other eagles appear multicolored. All of them though enjoy flying high in the sky. Like the owl, these too must possess a good set of eyes even if the judgment perception isn't all there. Just think how good these birds must be to see something moving down below. They're flying in a straight line up above. Then they must calculate immediately the force and speed of the descent needed to catch up with their prey. More that that, these have to either dive down at an angle or else in an arc. All these moves are siilent testaments To the strength of their their depth perception, speed, and agility. Think of how complicated these moves must be compared with the relative size of their brains. Unlike the raven, however, these enjoy alive prey.
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; A great eagle with great wings, longwinged, full of feathers, which had divers colours, came unto Lebanon, and took the highest branch of the cedar:
He cropped off the top of his young twigs, and carried it into a land of traffick;
he set it in a city of merchants.
