You're not selling your business or even an idea. Rather, you're marketing solutions, reasons for a problem, and to meet a certain need.
Navigable solutions and the current market solutions aren't working. If they were, we wouldn't be having this chat just now. So the question then becomes what are doing with the market? It's not enough to grab the bull by the horns, wrestle a bear, or ride it out. Maybe that's the problem with it all now, isn't it? Just because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean that you should too. Taking down the market requires something a little bit more. Now I would like to be nice and cute while pointing out all the citizens that occupy Shrek's kingdom. They also are expecting a bit more out of the deal than just assurances of continued peace and prosperity. What then can be offered them besides their own lateral movement freely if ours is ever vertical.
Starting off right avoids finishing wrong. Trust me on this. It works that way because it just does. When you're building a kingdom, a business, an empire, a name, or even a brand it must start out with the Slough of Despond. I'm sorry if it's not cute and cuddly enough for you. It's necessary though as well as true. We've all been there haven't we if we're really, truly honest with ourselves. Then again, there's just the magic of me and you. From time as old as tale, it's what makes the world go round, you know. Then again, there's only so much it can do before the night kicks in, and darkness has its reign again. That's where the guide comes in. The guide can be anything from me to you. You've got that much right so far. The journey of a thousand miles that we've been talking about, it only starts within.
Sketching contains the power therein of harnessing the market and drawing it into focus. It also helps you find your place again. Just think of what's being done right here, right now. Without it, whole markets would crumble, and empires begin to fall.
So often, business-people like to talk about their vast knowledge of the market and even the power of the pen. Have you ever wondered though if maybe there was something just a little more. Perhaps another guiding force is there. It seems to hold both you and the client's hand, a guide from another world, maybe even life, the next. How you know him is the same way you portray him. Your clients, those lost in Swamp Despond, will want an awful lot of things. That other worldly Guide though is all about projecting truth back into markets not just what people want to hear.
What determines your value? Let me guess, it's the age-old story of what you can do for your clients and your clients can do for you all over again. Although really it would be nice. A free ride with dinner already inside must be nice isn't it. Come to think of it though, that's precisely what the client has given up to lend you what they have. The lateral movement of the market, whether you like it or not, manifests itself this way found in the struggle, the daily grind.
In all of this, what is the key? Trying to win? What are you aiming for or better yet hoping to accomplish. I'd let you in on all my hopes and dreams but doing something more is up to you.
The story of how you got there, only you can tell. Change your story around if you don't like it. Throw the book down. Then again, it's as simple as just rewriting the page. You can tell them what you like and how you finally made it through.
No one is asking you to commit to a flawed version of yourself. What they are doing is seeing the best in you, being committed to bringing that thing, quality, or person out. It's not about who you are but rather what that person or thing you're becoming fast.
Perhaps you don't realize the business application to nonprofit, charity, and public works just yet. Trust me though, it's there. No one's saying making money is bad. Sure, we all have got to live. Even that other-worldly Guide would recognize and operate thereby instead.
Reimagining the world without the struggle itself takes some little time. No matter how long you've been stuck or trapped therein, it can be done for you as well. It's what we all want isn't it, getting paid enough to live and keeping our gains safely near in comfort by the journey's end.
Availability Based on Value: Doing the least amount possible doesn't work in nonprofits for obvious reasons. It's all about the people then. For your model to be successful though, it must first apply to everyone involved. Your question then becomes how you will get results. What are they worth? It doesn't matter if it's not there yet. Just adjust it, no harm done. The good book talks a lot about the soul and what a man would give in exchange if it really came on down to it. Now I'm not saying that's where all this will go. Streamline the process, simplify the result, do more for less, and trust him with the rest.
You and others aren't the final judge or end determinants of the market or even of what's needed. In the end, aren't we all merely consumers of a product, if only the figment of our own imaginations brought to pass at all.
There are multiple keys to the kingdom, far more even than many realize. Each by itself unlocks a certain door in small part the greater whole. The issue comes though when most have no idea what if in fact they are indeed unlocking and unloosing. Instead of frantically trying everything in sight, perhaps some binding is rather badly needed lest something worse should come upon those being led by us instead.
Sometimes I rather think everything's governed by the opposite of the rule that says it stacks together neatly much like an oversized set of nesting dolls. This view espouses as many issues present as are reported to explain the situation. Altogether it forms a phenomenon to which each key belongs separately somewhere both in part and in whole.
Babylon's problem is largely need driven in solidarity and in plurality. Consider that if there is a woman riding the beast, then that is exactly what is happening now. The question remains of how to take it down.
Freeing the beast inside you and me rather ought to be the main objective that is well worth our while simultaneously defeating it. Part of the journey is that you don't always know it yourself. Sometimes the guide gets it wrong. It comes in through mismanagement and a misplaced focus cause at some point, you're gonna get to be a success whether by right means or wrong.
You enable the market as the woman to meet your needs and desires as the beast's insatiable appetite, a bottomless pit of desire. Thus, your success is due to guilt and a lie that only allows it place. So, take on the market, that business, the beast, and the woman. What's stopping you? The greatest things in this life once started out as a concept. No one ever really fully gets the cycle of pain. At the same time, what if the monster enabling the market, that situation, the suffering therewith really is you?
We are going from "I saw Satan fall as lighting from Heaven" to the kingdom of God now dwells among men. In the space that follows, freeing first requires slaying the devil inside you. Believe it or not, there is one and it's doing far more than just flittering around from one thing to the next always seeking for a shoulder thereon to rest.
Drunk versus Sober: Allow yourself a focus to see that much more clearly. Life is more than just a way to make money and die. Think of quantity versus quality. A pointless and purposeless life is more than just planets lined up overhead of the swamp that have so often taken a life and with it, governed desire. It takes place much as the movie Synchronic where a man goes outside of his own timeline into parallel worlds where tragedy fates. Such a view requires stepping outside of yourself as these things so often do. From there, modern day beasts of the jungle are only a stone's call away. We'd really like to talk to them but it's too late. The time for talking is over. With it, the time of action has come.
