Children Of The World
Just think, all the races and ethnicities that there are today, came from this one family: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Scripture tells how these were the three sons of Noah. Some people like to draw family trees something like this.
N o a h
Shem Ham Japheth
The top line of the tree would be for the father. We don't know the mothers name of course so hers is left blank. Then the bottom three are the children. Of course, any known grandchildren also go below that. The problem is though it misses out on a lot of rather personal details about someone. Important things get missed like who you are and where you come from. Nor does it provide for the curious what sort of stories these three went through. If you look close enough, this is all information the genealogies recorded in Scripture provides. Perhaps you may have already heard the following song.
Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
Red and yellow, black and white
They are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world
Actually, I'll admit it's a great song to learn melody on. But there's a lot more colors to it than red and yellow, black and white right? Then too it's a lot to expect to come from the three children of this one man. I don't know if you know anything about children or not, but they usually look like their parents. Or at least in most cases they do anyway. That is because it took the mother and the father to make the child. Perhaps if the mother and father are not in the picture, then they most resemble their caregiver in behavior and actions. So where do all the colors, the different looks of people come from then? That is, if the father is the same, what makes them look so different? Could it be it comes from where they've been instead? See, they spent all their time building the ark together presumably as a family. Then they went out and hunted for the animals or else God brought them in. After that, they spent what seemed to them to be a long time trapped on a boat together. At long last when it finally rested, they stayed together for a while exploring the new world. But after some time, they began to drift apart for a variety of reasons. That means, some of the brothers have been where others have not and vice versa. So, there's the black skin color told of in Song of Solomon 1:6.
Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.
I see several things that jump out at me here. This woman is black because the sun has looked upon her. She's been through some hard times, cast out of her father's house. She was made a vineyard keeper of others, but her own life has been cut short too soon. Notice two things: in its prime and before her time. Then there's the yellow color traditionally given to certain parts of the world. If you recall, Paul tried to once go to Asia on his little walk with Jesus, but he was denied.
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:
2 Corinthians 1:8-9
Paul was pressed beyond strength even to the point of death. In fact, it says the circumstances were so severe that he even despaired of his own life. It means he wasn't sure if he would live to see tomorrow or not. That is just about to die but not quite. Then there's the look of the father which one of the children accidentally uncovered. Basically, there's a law in the Old Covenant which says not to discover your parents. But this child did, and it was a very shameful thing to do at the time and likely still is. Well, what color is that? I'm sure I don't know but if I had to guess that would be red. Let's see if I'm right or not in just a few minutes. We still have three colors and not four. Though when I'm done there will be five in all. Here's the look of the Father if you absolutely must know.
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures he leads me beside still waters.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Psalm 23:1-2, 5
In this text we see God bent over double for his body is made as the table of the Lord. Then too is the crown of suffering he wore made into fresh oil and anointing for his saints. Only God can bring about this shift. It's who he is my friends. There is nothing wanted due to this. In him is there no life cut short too soon. I'm resting in him due to the green pastures and still waters even before this mine enemies. It's a perfect neutral if you will, with nothing black, nothing white, nothing red, and nothing yellow. In fact, it's all colors contained at once which can also manifest all at the same time. Now let's check and see if I'm correct. Remember, everything's only a theory until it's been proven. I'm going to use prophecy to do it. Just think though, as many prophecies in Scripture that have come true, I think over half and some of them very specific, that the rest stand a very high chance of also being fulfilled. Revelation 6:2-8 is the test we will use.
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
The white horse went out conquering with both a bow and crown for its rider. The red horse came out with the sword nor was any peace found therewith. Now there is the black horse that finds justice for itself and measures all things. So it also dispenses all things as equal and fair. Then at last rides death along with hell until all be fulfilled. Far has this horse ridden through famine and plague, war and wild animal attacks. For dark is the night and where it comes from is far from its' home. What do you think?
