Preparation

- Dye, makeup, cough, congestion, inflammation and skin disorder relieving properties

- Safety for internal ingestion not established

- Toxicity possible with too much use

- Not for long-term application

- Suggested for external topical use only

- Known for pain relief when applied to the skin

- When applied to open wounds possible benefit

- Additional research needed for appropriate strength levels

- Recommended between one to eleven percent of total medication volume

- Combinations with spikenard for best results
